What should we do when we feel anxiety and stress?
Step 1. Regain a correct perspective.
David had been betrayed by the most intimate of friends.This lead to incorrect thinking. Many times this leads to very poor decisions.Psalm 116:11
How can I gain a healthy perspective?
-Talk to someone.
– Let someone talk to you.
Step 2.Confessing our sins.Which part of my stress is my sin?
Step 3.Self-Counsel.Sometimes God is all we have.
Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the Lord hath dealt bountifully with thee.
Recount the miraculous things that God has already done.
1. Re-affirms our personal relationship with God.
2. Re-affirms God’s love toward us.
Step 4:Encourage yourself in the Lord. I Samuel 30:7
