Luke 6-12
Luke 6:7 And the scribes and Pharisees watched him, whether he would heal on the sabbath day; that they might find an accusation against him.
Did you catch that? These guys, the pharisees, were so dedicated to their power and preconceived theological positions that they actually watched to see if Jesus would HEAL SOMEONE, because that was “working” on the Sabbath day.
You’ve got to be kidding me! Is it possible for me to be this backward in my thinking about God! These guys totally miss the point. Do we?
