46 And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord,47 And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.48 For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.49 For he that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is his name.50 And his mercy is on them that fear him from generation to generation.51 He hath shewed strength with his arm; he hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.52 He hath put down the mighty from their seats, and exalted them of low degree.53 He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich he hath sent empty away.54 He hath holpen his servant Israel, in remembrance of his mercy;55 As he spake to our fathers, to Abraham, and to his seed for ever.
Luke 1:46-55
What can we learn from Mary’s prayer?
How can it apply to our lives?
what i think we can learn from her prayer is #1 God does things for a reason and #2 God is with you at all times.even though mary was pregnant at 14 God was still with her and her prayer was that she magnifyed the lord which means she wants to do what he says.being pregnant at a young age God was with her and lead them to a stable for Jesus to be born.God did that for a reason.how i can apply this to my life is know that when weird things happen i know God did it for a reason.so excited christamas is almost here!! 🙂 btw pastor ben,im not gonna be here for christmas eve service.so i can’t sing.love you guys!!!!! 😀
From Mary’s prayer I can learn that she is very greatful to have this baby and that she is willing to do it because it’s what god wants her to do and she is blessed with a great baby of god.
It can apply to my life because what ever god wanted Mary to do she did it and she didn’t question and say “oh you can’t do this” she just did it I think I or we should be like that to because sometimes when god ask us to do something we say “no” or “you can’t do this” because I need to know whatever god does for me is the best and I will do it for him because it’s what he wants me to do.
So true Mafalda! Mary was very grateful to have this baby. She probably thinks of it as a gift from god. Which it is! 🙂 she has no fear tht god will take care of her. Cuz she’s like oh god chose me? So he’s going to take care of me and everything is going to be fine! 🙂 love u guys and merry Christmas!!!! 😀
What i think that is coming from the prayer is that mary was scared at first but she was also excited because God choose mary. Mary was praing all these great things about god that he has done in her life.
What we can do to apply it is that even if god choose us to do something scary its a great blessing because he choose you to do it .
