In connection group I learned that the tongue can be evil or is evil and cannot be controlled and that you have to be kind and that I learned alot of ways that we could controll our tongues for example by letting god in to your soul and your mind and letting him change you for the better!! 🙂
Oh sorry what I’m gonna do to apply this to my life and to put it in to action is that on gonna watcha my mouth and be careful of what I say I will try to control my mouth and my tongue but it’s easier said then but I’m gonna try my best,
in connection group i learned our tongue is very powerful!! but it can also be good 2! if we just say one little thing 2 someone it can turn out 2 be something bad and possibly a fight. this goes along w/ a forest fire.if we were 2 light a tiny match,it would spread throughout the whole forest.we can’t tame our tongues but we could always pray 4 the right words 2 say.what im gonna do to apply this 2 my life is like mafalda said watch my mouth and think W.W.J.D.
i know this doesn’t hv 2 do w/ today’s devo but think about this,could u imagine loving God less.think about it.all he did 4 u was the greatest thing ever.think about it………….
loved everything about today!! see u guys tonight!!!!! 🙂 ❤ ❤ ❤

I learned how our words can be used for good & for bad, and how our tongue is full of deadly poison! We have to be soooo careful what we say cause words are so powerful! God is the only one that can help us control our sinful nature.
In church i learned how kindness can be risky, but its what God wants us to be towards people. We should be kind to others because God has been nothing but kind & gracious to us! 🙂
I can apply these lessons to my life because my words should be kind. See how everything is related?! i know i need to be careful with what i say, & how i am towards my peers. I strive to be a godlier women each day 🙂
Today I learned more about the tongue and how it can be very harmful if you don’t use it right! But it can be a very good thing if you do use it right! & we talke about one thing that can help us a lot to use our words right, the holy spirit! If you’re saved, then the little voice in your head that tells you when something is wrong, is the holy spirit. And it’s a good idea to listen to it! The holy spirit can help you a lot when it comes to the words you say! I think m application would be to take what I’ve learned and not just say “that was really good” but actually put what I’ve learned into action, which this would mean to watch what I say, and to be uplifting rather than discouraging! 🙂
Teaching a small group is kinda intimidating sometimes. I love it so much, but sometimes I’m afraid to teach a lesson and for the girls to get the wrong take away. I pray every morning that God would give me the words to speak and teach through me. We can use our tongue for evil or for good. We can let the temptations of our flesh get the best of us or we can let the holy spirit get the best of us. Words can not only hurt, but they can lead to other things such as conflicts, fights, physical, or verbal, etc. It’s so important for us to pray to God for us to honor and glorify Him, with the words we speak and to be encouragers of others and not discouragers of others.
My application of this weeks lesson, is to really pray every day, not just say I will, but to actually pray every single day, that I can be an uplifter to those around me, and not just by my words, but my actions. I want to lead people to Christ because they see the way He has impacted my life! I’m challenging myself to do this, and I’m not going to fail this challenge! 🙂
Great stuff! Miss all you guys in service this month, but having fun with all the kiddies! 🙂 Have a great Monday everyone!
