  1. The verses says that jesus was gonna be born and be the prince of peace and he was given many names and that Jesus was born to do something to change something/us he was born to finish some business. The verse teaches us about ourselfs is that we should do what the bin le says and believe as well. It teaches us that the lord himself will also give us a sign I’m not sure That i did well on this question. Yes this gives me confidence in the bible and god himself :).

  2. One thing that comes to mind when I read these verses.. Amazing. All these things said about Him are amazing! He’s wonderful, counselor, Mighty God, everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. And that the government will be on HIS shoulder! I seriously can’t wait for the day when He is the ruler, imagine how amazing that will be! ❀ and for me, it's a big encouragement to just keep going and stay strong in the Lord! Because in the end it will be worth it! Sorry I haven't been on here a lot, I haven't had internet. But I'll try to keep getting on. I hope you guys are having a good week and church is going good! I'll see you guys soon πŸ™‚

  3. Everything about Jesus is wonderful and amazing. It says they’ll give Him names like “wonderful, counselor, mighty God, everlasting Father, prince of peace” Those names are so good! I’m not really sure what this teaches us about oursleves, but this verse definitely gives the Bible credibility, in my opinion. I think it gives the Bible credibility because this verse was written way before it happened…..and then just that! It happened! The prophecy was true. And it wasn’t just ‘some coincidence’ LOL It’s not everyday a VIRGIN gives birth to a son (that right there is a lil impossible πŸ˜‰ ) who is flawless and fulfills all the prophecies in the Bible. Only God ❀

  4. My brother Daniel says Isaiah 9 verses 6&7 in the kids Christmas play, so I know those two verses by heart because I help him practice. These verses are amazing. “for unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given:” That’s so cool isn’t? God gave his son to us, and for us.. That’s incredible! These verses tell us that he is going to be great one day, a heavenly father. You just know through these verses how great he truly is! I love how Isaiah 7:14 is before Jesus was even born. You know a lot of people think Christianity is a hoax because half of the bible was written after Jesus was born, but there is so much proof and truth in God’s word it’s insane. This verse is just one of them. I love how God’s word just comes to life!

  5. i’ve heard those verses before.it is such a great verse because it tells us WAY before Jesus was born that a virgin (mary) would bear him! God gave us is son.it is truth though that some people do think christianity is a hoax because half the bible was written after he was born.isn’t that cool?!?! God’s word truly does come to life!!! <33 πŸ™‚ hope you all had a great few days!! love yoo guys so very much!!!!! <333333 πŸ™‚

  6. Like Mel said, i’ve heard these verses over & over the past few weeks cause Daniel says them in the Christmas play (Make sure to come Dec 17th for evening service to see the play! :)) and honestly, i didnt even “read” the verse. I heard it, i just never really understood what it ment until todays devos. It is nuts how what God said would happen happened!! Exactly how He said it would. This makes me trust the bible even more than i already do because everything thats in it comes from God! So cool πŸ™‚ This teaches me that even thru times of worry, we have nothing to worry about. Jesus will protect us thru it all.
