Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed? For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. (Isaiah 53:1-3)
Consider that Isaiah 53 was written long before Jesus birth! Incredible!
So, what can we learn from today’s verses?
Study the Scriptures with Ben Jennings 
I assume that we are taking about Jesus so okay. The verse Isaiah 53 1-3 is kinda saying that oh we will hate Jesus no one will like him he’s different from us and we won’t see anything about him that catches our attention. What can learn is that in John 1:14 that everything that verse said did come true and also in the other verse to it also came true as well so we can learn that Jesus was loved and hated by many people. I think that’s it… okay so yea.
Starting my day out right.. With Jesus! It’s crazy when you think about how amazing God is and how we wish He was down here on earth with us, so we could physically talk to him and He could physically point us in the right direction. Jesus was here on earth and many people got the chance to actually be with him, yet instead of realizing how truly incredible he was, they spit at him, called him names, and crucified him at the cross.. I’m not sure much things would be different today unfortunately. We as Christians would fall at his feet, but there are people who would send him to the cross. These verses are so awesome! I love how the bible talked about things that hadn’t even happened yet, but they happened, just like they said they would! If that’s not proof, I’m not sure what is then! Amazing! See you guys tonight, can’t wait to hear another message of a Christmas story! 😀

These verses are talking about the coming of Christ. He would come and be perfect but we would not recognize his beauty and perfection. We will reject and despise Him. It really is amazing that it was written and then it comes true. Makes my faith more real that I can trust what the Bible says for today because it was even spot on so many years ago.
